On tour: review and photos from the US

The Dallas Morning News reviewed Sunday’s concert at New York’s Avery Fisher Hall:
“Some of the greatest musical performances feel pushed to the edge of the possible, without quite going over. They feel spontaneous, but also fastidiously prepared and executed.

Sunday afternoon’s London Philharmonic Orchestra concert, at Avery Fisher Hall, was like that. Even when quiet, the music-making had a laser focus and electric charge. The surprisingly young-looking orchestra supplied the most polished string playing I can remember. ”

As the London Philharmonic Orchestra returns from six concerts in the US, some more photos taken by violinist Peter Nall.
