Nicholas Collon appointed Assistant Conductor

Nicholas Collon has been appointed as Assistant Conductor to Vladimir Jurowski for the 2011/12 season.

In addition to assisting Vladimir Jurowksi, Nicholas will conduct the London Philharmonic Orchestra’s concerts in Dorking and Eastbourne on 8 and 9 October 2011, as well as the Family Concert on 23 October.  On 21 September he conducts the Foyle Future Firsts in a pre-concert performance, and he will also be involved in other projects during the season.

Nicholas Collon is Principal Conductor of the Aurora Orchestra, which recently won the Ensemble category at the Royal Philharmonic Society 2011 Awards.  More information about Nicholas Collon
